On behalf of the Town of Walnut Grove, I welcome you to our home on the web.

Walnut Grove, located in Southeastern Leake County in the heart of Mississippi, is filled with friendly, hard-working people committed to making your visit enjoyable or welcoming you to your new home for your family or business.  Our town has the small-town atmosphere with the conveniences of larger metropolitan areas just a short drive away.

Our 125 acre industrial park has water, sewer, natural gas, and electric utilities on-site and has been designated as part of a federal renewal community.   This park and a number of available buildings both industrial and retail are located just 15 miles north of I-20, the Automotive Corridor of the Southeast and just 46 miles from the Nissan Automotive Plant at Canton, MS.   Walnut Grove is also home to a state-of-the-art poultry hatchery, South Leake Elementary and High Schools, regional driver's license testing station, 1500 bed youth correctional facility, hometown bank, two medical clinics, and many other business including several great restaurants.
