Walnut Grove Natural Gas System is one of
48 municipal natural gas systems in Mississippi. A strong
utility system is vital to a municipality's economic future.
Town leaders had foresight to construct the system in the 1960's.
Its certificated service area includes the entire Town of Walnut
Grove, points North/North East of Walnut Grove and South of Walnut
Grove several miles into Scott County near Forest, Mississippi.
Public Works Director Jason Gilbert oversees the operation and
maintenance of the Natural Gas System. Service and billing
inquiries should be directed to the Municipal Clerk's Office.
WGNGS is a member of the Mississippi Natural Gas Association (MGNA).
