For the convenience of municipal tax payers who also have to pay Leake County Taxes, The Mayor and Board of Aldermen approved an agreement for the Leake County Tax Assessor-Collector to collect real and personal property taxes for the Town at the same time collecting for the County. By doing this, taxpayers only have to go to one location annually to pay property taxes.
