 The Town of Walnut Grove Water System is managed by Public Works Director Jason Gilbert, a certified water operator.   The system is regularly tested for safety and consistently scores well by the Mississippi Department of Health.

The town has three elevated storage tanks and 3 water wells.

The Town of Walnut Grove Sewer System is also managed by the public works department.  The system is monitored by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality.  The town operates a large aerated lagoon South of the municipality.
