Board of Aldermen

The Town of Walnut Grove Board of Aldermen acts as the legislative branch of our government, as well as its policy-making body. The Board looks to the town's goals, major projects and infrastructure improvements ranging from community growth to land use to finances and strategic planning. The Board's goal is to do the very best to represent their constituents after they've seen to the needs of the Town as a whole. 
 
The Board of Aldermen are elected at-large for four year terms.  One member is elected by the Board to serve as Mayor Pro-Tempore.  The Mayor Pro-tem would preside in the absence of the Mayor.
 
The Board of Aldermen meet monthly on the First Monday at 6:00 PM in the Board Room of Town Hall.  Meetings are open to the public and the public is encouraged to attend.
